Marketing Communications Manager
Advanced Illumination is a leader in machine vision lighting for industrial applications. Companies use Ai’s lighting products as part of a vision system in manufacturing processes to ID product quality, guide robots, and track items through each stage of production or distribution. We focus on solving our customer’s machine vision challenges with precision lighting solutions. The Marketing Communications Manager is an integral part of our customer facing team and supports Ai sales efforts in new and existing market segments.
Well-versed in all areas of digital marketing that helps add value and increases conversion from our existing sales channels. You will be knowledgeable in Word Press CMS, optimization of paid acquisition, analytics and reporting, and website conversion. You will own the website execution including product content and lead generation. You’ll collaborate with sales, operations and customer support on improving content to drive results. Proactive performance analysis (leveraging Website Analytics, Email Analytics, SEO tools, Social Analytics) You will manage our paid search budgets and performance, working closely with our paid search agency, to optimize the effectiveness of these programs. You must be confident and comfortable in not only outlining annual initiatives and campaigns, but also in managing day-to-day results, projects and execution.
Content Strategy and Communications
Create and/or edit the written elements of marketing emails, direct mail pieces, etc.
Create/update and optimize online category-level descriptions to reflect a true point of view that aligns with our customer segments and positioning.
Create new and refine existing how-to and FAQ content. Optimize existing content for SEO best practices and write new pieces with the same goal. Work with Sales to help define/refine our various brand positions and elements.
Lead the creation of the marketing calendars and content distribution across all demand generation channels such as YouTube, LinkedIn and Ai’s Blog.
Bachelor’s Degree minimum.
Proven experience writing to achieve both selling and informational goals.
Direct experience with writing for the Web, including knowledge of SEO best practices and strategy.
Graphic Design ability (InDesign, Photoshop)
